My cherished 1996 supremely American muscle vehicle is too much of a gas guzzler to pass the environmentally-focused state emissions test. I'm going to have to pay more up until I buy a new car. What have I gained from my experience? Actually one hour of preparation might have conserved me lots of time and thousands of dollars. All I had to do was update all my forwarding information, remedy my billing information and cellular phone agreement, and inform my insurance company about the modifications. Then, another hour or two at the California Department of Motor Automobiles would've remedied all my license and registration problems. Since I didn't do this, I needed here to invest a number of days at a dive motel, got mocked mercilessly by my friend, and lost a lot of money I might've invested on brand-new furniture for my new home phone.
